Led Meditation - full body recalibration

Full body and mind balancing Meditation

What is this?

This 25 minutes meditation flow is based on Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep exercises and Vipasana Meditation techniques.

When, why and how should you practice?

You can play it after asana practice. You can play it anytime you feel tired or overwhelmed. You can use it as a daily practice to dive deep within. If and when you feel anxious you can also use this meditation.

What are the benefits?

It is designed to allow the intelligence of your body and your awareness, to gently and gradually, detach and release old impressions that are obsolete. The body has a homeostatic capacity to find balance as long as we learn how yo listen to it. And the only way to achieve that is through deep body and mind relaxation.

It’s believed that Buddha achieved self realization by focusing and shifting his senses and awareness to breath and body sensations. His realization was that nothing is permanent and change is the only constant. This is the law of Nature.

Following the law of Nature means that you give up individual control trusting the natural flow of existence.

Dissolving trauma

Your body has memory, the good ones and bad ones. Your body stores memories since the beginning of times. There is a ancient wisdom bellow the surface of your memory and perception fields. Some call genetics, collective unconscious, Karma etc.

“Good” impressions or memories will make one attracted to repeat the same experiences. “Bad” impressions or experiences will make one to avoid and push those experiences away.

Aversion to pain and attraction to pleasure are a natural and instinctual movement for the majority of humans. Attachments to pleasure and avoidance of pain will cause equal amounts of suffering because every energy holds within itself the opposite energy.

The path of self realization is in the middle. Indifference to both pleasure and pain. Once you realize that nothing lasts forever you can be at peace with life.

Your body will hold and store both pleasant and unpleasant experiences. These memories are stored in your fascia, muscles, tissues and organs. Your body store’s memories yet your brain only processes it.

Bad memories are often called trauma. We all have traumas and we often avoid facing it because it causes us pain. Yet when we manage to relax our mind and body consciously and with awareness, these memories are released and transformed. Your shadows are there to help you rise as they are also created by light.
